Every part is 100% pre-preg carbon fibre, cured under heat and pressure in an autoclave, with the 2x2 twill weave matched to the carbon Porsche uses on its own mirrors and roof panels. Nothing is a carbon skin over fibreglass, and nothing is designed to shout.
Ducktails lead here as they do everywhere. The 992.1 mini ducktail coupe and 992.2 mini ducktail coupe are the front runners, with targa and cabriolet and fixed versions alongside, and the 991.1 and 991.2 ducktail covering the previous generation.
The Gulf market also has a real appetite for the complete look. Our 991.1, 991.2 and 718 GT4 full carbon packages dress the whole car in matched weave in one order, and the forged DD1 and DD2 wheels for the 992, with carbon outer shrouds and rear disc shrouds, bring a genuine hypercar stance that suits the cars this market runs. GT4 and Spyder owners come to us for the rear wing and the front end carbon packs in road and track spec, and for 992 owners wanting the front and rear resolved together there are the 992 launch design packages for base and Sport Design bumpers.
It is also a market of collections rather than single cars. It is common for one owner to run a 991 alongside a 992 and a GT4, which is why our range covering four generations of 911 and the 718 in the same matched weave lands so well here. The carbon on the newest car in the garage can match the carbon on the oldest.
One thing matters more in the Emirates than almost anywhere else: UV. Bare, unlacquered carbon will yellow over time when it lives in direct sun, so for cars parked outdoors we recommend our gloss lacquered visual carbon finish, which seals the weave under a clear coat. Many parts are also available in primer or gloss black, and selected parts can be painted to Porsche paint codes for a fully colour coded look. If the car lives in an air conditioned garage and only comes out after dark, bare carbon stays an option, and we will always advise honestly based on how the car is actually used rather than upsell a finish it does not need.
Each part is laid up by hand in pre-preg carbon fibre and cured in the autoclave in precision carbon and metallic tooling at our UK workshop, the same process used for hypercar and motorsport components. It is a slower, costlier way to make a panel than the open moulding behind most aftermarket carbon, and it is why the parts keep their shape and finish year after year, even in a hard climate.
