Carbon fiber Porsche parts in the USA

Most of what we build leaves Britain, and a large share of it lands in America. The USA is one of our two biggest markets for carbon fiber Porsche parts, with owners ordering ducktails, wings, engine covers and forged wheels for the 992, 991 and 718 direct from our UK workshop. Here is what American drivers tend to buy, how the parts are made, and how shipping to the United States works.

Why US owners choose our carbon fiber Porsche parts

There is no shortage of aftermarket carbon in the US. What is rare is carbon built the way Porsche builds it. Every part we make is 100% pre-preg carbon fiber, cured under heat and pressure in an autoclave, the same process behind hypercar and motorsport components. Nothing we sell is a carbon skin bonded over fiberglass. The 2x2 twill weave is matched to the carbon Porsche fits to its own mirrors and roof panels, so a Dissident part reads as factory rather than add-on.

That OEM+ approach fits where the American Porsche scene has gone. The cars that draw a crowd now are the ones Stuttgart could plausibly have built, with carbon in the right places instead of a catalog of loud parts. Our whole range is designed around that idea.

The ducktail leads everything. It has been part of the 911's silhouette since the early seventies, and our modern take on it is the most searched part we make in the States. For the current car there is the 992.1 mini ducktail coupe and 992.2 mini ducktail coupe, with targa and cabriolet versions and fixed ducktail options alongside them. Owners of the previous generation choose the 991.1 ducktail or 991.2 ducktail. Every ducktail spoiler we make replaces the factory panel and keeps the car's proportions intact.

Why the carbon fiber ducktail spoiler leads

Part of it is history. The ducktail is the most famous tail in the 911 story, and it carries that weight lightly on a modern car. Part of it is proportion. A ducktail sharpens the rear without breaking the silhouette, which is why it suits daily driven Carreras as well as garage queens. And part of it is that a well made carbon fiber ducktail spoiler is one of the few upgrades that adds presence and sheds weight at the same time, with no downside when the time comes to sell. American buyers researching a 992 ducktail or a 991 ducktail almost always land on ours for one reason: it looks like Porsche made it.

Beyond the ducktail, American orders center on the 992.1 fixed rear wing blade and 992.2 fixed rear wing blade, the 718 GT4 rear wing with its optional gurney for track cars, and the 992.1 and 992.2 engine covers in brake light and brake light delete versions. Wheels are the other big line: our forged DD1 and DD2 designs for the 992, in center lock and five bolt fitments, with carbon disc shrouds for a genuine hypercar rear.

Autoclave cured carbon fiber, hand built in England

Every part is laid up by hand in pre-preg carbon fiber and cured in the autoclave in precision carbon and metallic tooling at our UK workshop. It is slower and costs more than the open molding behind most aftermarket carbon, and it is the reason the parts hold their shape, weight and finish for the life of the car. Finishes run from gloss lacquered visual carbon to bare carbon, primer or gloss black depending on the part, and selected parts can be painted to Porsche paint codes.

Fitment on US spec Porsches

Our panels directly replace the factory originals, with no cutting, drilling or permanent bonding, so the car can always return to standard for resale or storage. If you want certainty on your exact car, send us your model year and spec by email or WhatsApp and we will confirm fitment before you order.

Shipping Porsche parts to the USA

We ship to the USA by FedEx, tracked door to door from the workshop. Parts in stock are dispatched quickly, and parts built to order are dispatched within 14 to 35 days. If you would like shipping confirmed before you order, message us with your address and we will check it for you.

Ordering Porsche parts from the States

Ordering works the same as it does for our UK customers. Pick the part, choose the finish, and check out. Prices can be viewed in US dollars on every product page, payment is taken securely through Square, and your order confirmation arrives by email. If you are between finishes, or you want a painted part matched to your car, message us before you buy and we will talk it through. Most American customers reach us on WhatsApp or email with a photo of the car and a question, and that is exactly how we like to work.

The American Porsche scene

Between cars and coffee mornings, PCA drives, canyon roads and trackdays, America uses its Porsches harder and shows them more than almost anywhere. Events like Rennsport Reunion and Luftgekühlt have made the US the center of gravity for Porsche culture, and the standard for modified cars there keeps climbing. Restraint is what wins. A ducktail, the right wheels and a few carbon details go further than any body kit, and that is precisely the brief our parts are built to.
